I can say that by God's grace I found the joy of suffering
It is a feeling that arises from our own personal loss, deprivation or failure
Rejoice in the Lord always; the Lord is near to all who call upon Him in truth
Our deep joy reveals the authenticity of our encounter with the Risen Lord
It comes ultimately from knowing that we are loved by God, that we are his children
If we remain close to him, we possess a source of happiness that does not depend upon everything going well.
When the soul is happy it spreads its happiness and is an encouragement to others.
We think we need every question answered. Our brains tell us we do. We don’t.
